Visa launched the Visa Stablecoin Platform, initially supporting Open USD: The enterprise platform gives banks and fintechs tools to mint, redeem, store, and transfer stablecoins through a single Visa-managed system, integrated with its existing payment network. Circle shares fell roughly 6% on the news.
