Visa

Visa's stablecoin infrastructure initiatives and settlement momentum span several key areas:
  • Multichain Settlement: Visa expanded its settlement pilot to nine major blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Stellar, Polygon, Base, Circle’s Arc, Canton Network, and Tempo. This allows issuers and acquirers to settle transactions in near real-time instead of traditional banking rails.
  • Agentic Commerce & Payouts: Using Visa Direct, the company is piloting direct payouts to stablecoin wallets, allowing freelancers and global creators to bypass multi-day banking delays.
  • Global Card Programs: Visa powers over 130 stablecoin-linked consumer card programs across more than 50 countries, enabling users to seamlessly spend stablecoin balances at standard merchant terminals.
  • Analytics & Insight: Visa tracks fiat-backed stablecoin movements across major blockchains using its dedicated Visa Onchain Analytics Dashboard to give institutional partners real-time visibility into digital currency adoption.
